John is a Registered Representative with Colorado Financial Service Corporation and has over 40 years of sales and capital markets experience. He spent the majority of his career as Senior Vice President of Sales for CNL Investment Company. Mr. Bishop recently joined Petra Capital Properties to help expand the company’s 1031 Exchange / Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) platform with a specific focus on philanthropy. John specializes in asset based philanthropic solutions for donor-based charities, endowments, planned giving, and other non-profit organizations. John is a 1965 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps following graduation. He served with the Third Marine Division in Vietnam.
